Washington, D.C. – Congressman David Rouzer held a series of roundtable discussions with county commissioners and mayors across the district during last week’s Congressional recess period.

This was an opportunity for local elected officials to talk about the needs of their communities and how the Congressman’s office can best serve them.

“It’s important that we have strong relationships with our local leaders,” said Congressman Rouzer.  “Our district is very diverse and each community has different needs.  We will work hard to be a strong voice for all of the communities of the 7th Congressional District.  I appreciate all the input and feedback we have received from county commissioners, mayors, and many other interested citizens throughout the week.  Jobs, the economy, and infrastructure needs have been the predominant topics of concern along with the growing threat of terrorism."
