Dear Friend,

I believe our veterans earned recognition for their service and sacrifice, and they deserve to receive it.  Unfortunately, the process of requesting military awards or replacing lost or damaged medals can be complicated.

To help simplify the process, I am hosting a Badges of Honor event on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Cape Fear Community College’s Surf City Campus.  My staff will be available to assist NC-07 veterans and their loved ones with the necessary paperwork and guide them through the process of obtaining military awards and medals they earned but may never have received.

Participants are encouraged to bring their DD-214, and family members are welcome to attend.  Those with questions about required documentation may contact Grant Seitrich in my office at Grant.Seitrich@mail.house.gov.

Please note my office can only assist veterans who live in North Carolina’s Seventh Congressional District.  If you live outside NC-07, you can find your representative here and contact their office for similar assistance.  Veterans who cannot attend the event may also contact my office at (910) 395-0202 or visit my website for assistance.

Space is limited, so please RSVP for the Badges of Honor event using this link or the form below.

I look forward to helping our veterans receive the recognition they have earned.
