Washington, D.C. – Congressman Rouzer’s (NC-7) office will host a Disaster Preparedness Forum on Thursday, May 28th from 4:30-6:30pm. Details for the event are below.
The Disaster Preparedness Forum will provide residents along the coast with helpful information and tips on how to prepare for emergencies like hurricanes. Topics will include mobilization and evacuation strategies, North Carolina Emergency Management’s role in disasters, coastal degradation and reclamation issues, and the role of the Red Cross, followed by a brief question and answer session.
