Congressman David Rouzer (NC-07) today issued a statement following the announcement by President Trump of a historic peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates:

“This agreement between Israel and the UAE is a landmark achievement and historic day for the Middle East,” said Congressman Rouzer.  “Israel deserves to be recognized by her neighbors as the vibrant, economic engine and democracy of peace that it is. It’s a game-changer — a major step towards a more peaceful Middle East — and a great achievement by President Trump and his administration working with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed.”
