Congressman David Rouzer (NC-7) released the following statement Tuesday after being sworn into the 114th Congress.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to represent the people of North Carolina's 7th Congressional District.  My focus will be on reining-in Washington's out of control spending, eliminating job killing rules and regulations, and being a voice for our family farms and coastal communities. 

"The challenges we face are significant, but I look forward to working with my colleagues to champion solutions to help get this country back on track."

Congressman Rouzer represents the 7th Congressional District of North Carolina which includes either all, or parts of, Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Cumberland, Duplin, Hoke, Johnston, Lenoir, New Hanover, Pender, Robeson, and Sampson counties.
