 Congressman David Rouzer (NC-07) released the following statement upon Congressman David Price's (NC-04) announcement that he will retire at the end of his term in December 2022:

"I have worked with Congressman David Price and his office for many years going back to my time on the staff of the late U.S. Senator Jesse Helms.  While our politics is very different, when it comes time to take care of the needs of North Carolina, whether it is hurricane relief or a matter important to agriculture research or support for the UNC System or anything else, David and his staff are always there to lend a hand for the betterment of North Carolina as a key member of the House Committee on Appropriations.  I wish David and his family all the best once he embarks on his new chapter in life at the completion of this term."
