House Passes the Born-Alive

Abortion Survivors Protection Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday, House Republicans passed H.R. 21, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. H.R. 21 requires health care practitioners to give the same level of care to a child born alive after an attempted abortion as they would to any other newborn. It also stipulates the child must be taken to a hospital right away as well and requires if care isn't being provided, it must be reported to the authorities immediately.

"The passage of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act is a victory for those who cannot speak for themselves and is a reminder that every life—no matter how small—is deserving of protection and dignity. We must continue to fight for the voiceless, ensuring the most vulnerable among us have the chance to live and thrive," said Congressman Rouzer.

The 52nd annual March for Life was held on Friday in Washington, D.C., where tens of thousands of pro-lifers descended on Capitol Hill to support the lives of the unborn.

More than 200 North Carolinians made the trip to march for life. Their presence and passion made a powerful statement, showing the world they stand for the protection of the unborn. Their commitment to this cause is a reminder of the strength of community and the importance of speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves. It’s inspiring to see so many come together in unity and purpose, reminding us all that every life is worth fighting for.
